rental agreement states that removal of snow and ice in front of the unit door
is the responsibility of the occupant:
15. OCCUPANT MAINTENANCE: Occupant agrees to maintain cleanliness and
pest control inside the Unit. Additionally, Occupant agrees to maintain snow
and ice removal up to twelve (12) inches in front of Unit door.
If you need to access your unit frequently during the winter months, we
recommend treating your storage unit as if it were your own garage by clearing
away the snow completely after each snow event. This will aid in
preventing the snow melt and refreeze causing your door to be frozen shut. You
may use sand, salt or ice melt to help with this process.
